Saving on Date Nights

The following is a guest post from Jordan M:

Being married in your first year is an exciting time. A lot can be said about the exciting nature of being a young couple with a great amount of love but not a ton of money. As exciting as this can be, it is still important to keep yourself entertained and have date nights with your new spouse. Below are a few ways to have a good date night without having to break the bank.

Cook an Exciting Meal
Eating out on the town can be really expensive, but you don’t want a date night ruined with a run of the mill dinner. Instead, check out a new cooking site with a recipe for something you have never made before. This not only makes dinner exciting, but the two of you can create something together and not worry about breaking the bank. Recipe.com is always a go to, and there are plenty of options for a fun, culinary challenge.

Stream a Classic Film
Going to the movies is expensive, and sometime can break the bank on any date night. With the average ticket cost being well over $10, this is not always the best idea for a cheap date night. With the option to stream classic films from Netflix and movie and film channels with DirecTV and other cable options, you are able to stay in and spend a fraction of the cost on entertainment, and you have comeplete control over what you watch.

These are all you need for an exciting night with your spouse or partner, and you will get the full experience of a date night while being able to cut back on all of the costs associated with a night on the town.
