I’m having trouble understanding the deal below. Does it mean i need two 2 dollar off coupons to use for this deal? And if so i came up with paying $1 for both and not 50 cents each. I’m also new at couponing, so can you please do a bit more of a breakdown for me please?
Dial Nutriskin Lotion (12 or 21 oz), buy one get one FREE
Buy 2 Dial Nutriskin Lotions (12 oz), $4.99 each
Minus buy one get one FREE sale: $4.99 for both
Use 2 $2/1 coupons from the 6/12 RP
Final cost: only $0.50 each

Yes, you need two $2/1 coupons to get this deal. According to the Walgreens coupon policy, when items are featured on a buy one get one FREE sale, you can use two coupons against the items being purchased, as long as the total doesn’t go below zero.
With the scenario above, you would go into Walgreens and buy 2 12 oz lotions. They will both ring up at $4.99, but when the cashier presses “Total”, $4.99 will be deducted for the FREE item. Your $2/1 coupons would then be scanned, which would take a total of $4 off. You would be left paying $0.99 for two lotions, or $0.50 per lotion.
I hope this helps! If you have more questions, please feel free to shoot me an email on the contact me page!

Ok great! I’m excited now! lol….1 more question. Since the coupon is $2.00 off when the cashier scans it, why is it taking off $4.00? It doubled itself right?

Oops! I just read I need 2 of these coupons, how do I get a second one?

You can buy another copy of the Sunday newspaper today, or you can order from coupon clipping services. They most likely don’t have the coupon available yet though.
